Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026

Emberly Apps ("we", "us", "our") makes Tiny Frontier (the "Game"). This policy explains what information the Game collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as a cloud-saved game needs, and nothing about you is ever sold.

1. Information we collect

You can play without creating an account or telling us who you are. Here is everything the Game stores and why.

InformationWhenWhy
An anonymous player ID (a random identifier created by Firebase Authentication)Always, on first launchSo your progress can be saved to the cloud and restored after a reinstall
Your Google account email address, display name and profile pictureOnly if you choose "Sign in with Google"To link your progress to your account so it follows you to a new device
Your game save: level progress, stars, coins and tools, settings, the settler name you choseAlways, while you playCloud save and merging progress between devices
App version, device type (browser user agent) and when the Game was last openedAlwaysDiagnosing problems and knowing which versions are in use
Your Open Range score and settler nameWhen you finish an Open Range runThe public leaderboard. Other players see the name and score only, never your account
Gameplay events (level started or won, tool used, purchase made) with no personal detailsAlwaysUnderstanding difficulty and balancing the Game (Firebase Analytics)
Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA with your permission)When an ad is requestedServing, measuring and frequency-capping ads (Google AdMob)

The Game does not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or anything you type other than the settler name you choose for the leaderboard.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive a confirmation that a purchase succeeded and which item was bought. We never see or store your payment details.

Advertising

The Game shows optional rewarded video ads, and may show an occasional interstitial ad after repeated failed plots, served by Google AdMob. AdMob uses your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or the iOS identifier if you allow tracking) to serve, measure and limit ads, under Google's advertising policies. Where the law requires it you will be asked for consent before any ad is requested, and you can change that choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options. Without consent, or if you decline tracking on iOS, ads are non-personalised. Buying "No Ads" removes interstitial ads; rewarded ads only play when you choose to watch one.

2. How we use information

We do not use your information for profiling, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

3. Who else sees it

We use these service providers to run the Game. Each only receives what it needs for its job.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of players or the public.

4. Your choices and rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you have the rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data and to object to or restrict certain processing. We rely on the performance of our agreement with you (providing the Game) and our legitimate interest in keeping it working and fair. Contact us to exercise any right; we respond within 30 days.

5. Data retention

Your save and account information is kept while you use the Game. When you delete your account it is removed immediately from our live systems and from backups within 30 days. Gameplay analytics are kept in aggregated form for up to 14 months. Leaderboard entries are removed when you delete your account.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google's infrastructure. Access rules ensure that only you can read or change your own save. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children

Tiny Frontier is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email legal@tinyfrontier.app and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by those providers.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. For material changes we will also tell you in the Game. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
